Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind souvenir, some new gear, or a piece of local art, there are a myriad of retail options in Jackson Hole. The Town Square is the heart of Jackson Hole shopping. You’ll find all sorts of gift shops, designer boutiques, art galleries, and more. You can feel good about supporting our local business economy by shopping at our abundant locally owned shops.
When it comes to Jackson Hole shopping you can find just about anything: single-use plastic grocery bags. The Town of Jackson outlawed them in 2019 in order to cut back on plastic waste. The law took some getting used to, but it worked. Soon enough, reusable grocery bags were a part of locals’ everyday checklist alongside keys, wallets, and phones. The law applies to both big-name grocers and small local retailers, but only to bags given at point-of-sale. You can still find plastic produce bags.
You can buy paper or reusable plastic bags for an extra 20 cents. You can also buy a reusable bag at any grocery store. Better yet, a Jackson Hole-branded tote makes the perfect souvenir.
