Are any of the ski resorts still open?

Are any restaurants, bars or coffee shops open?

Jackson Hole restaurants are open for business. Some are offering take-out only or reservations only. For an up-to-date list of restaurant services, please click here.

Are the national parks open?

Grand Teton and Yellowstone National parks are plowing roads for the summer season. GTNP interior road opens to vehicle traffic May 1, 2021. Yellowstone national park south entrance opens in mid May. Facilities are limited. For more information, please go directly to nps.gov.

Where can I shop for groceries?

Three major grocery stores in Jackson Hole remain open for business. All three are offering early shopping hours for the elderly and immunocompromised: Albertsons, 7–9 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday; Smith’s, 7–8 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and Jackson Whole Grocer, 7–8 a.m. on Thursday. Whole Foods grocer is also offering online shopping and curbside pickup. Smaller grocery stores in the area that remain open for business are Aspens Market and Hungry Jack’s on the Westbank and Pearl Street Market in town.

What are the CDC’s guidelines for prevention?
  • Avoid social gatherings in groups of more than 25 people indoors and 250 outdoors
  • Wear a cloth face covering that covers your nose and mouth in public settings.
  • Stay at least 6 feet away from
    others and disinfect items you
    must touch.
  • Listen to and follow the directions of your state and local authorities
  • If you feel sick, stay at home — do not go to work, and contact your medical provider
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Sneeze or cough into a tissue and discard it immediately or into the inside of your elbow
  • Disinfect frequently used items and surfaces as much as possible

What's the best way to get around Jackson Hole?

If flying into Jackson Hole, there are several options for traveling around the valley. Some hotels offer a shuttle service from the airport to their location. If not, there are plenty of cabs available curbside. Uber is another option. Jackson Hole is a large valley so you may prefer to rent a car to provide more flexibility and social distancing options. Rental cars are available at the airport. Public transportation is also available on our START bus. Masks are required and the windows will be open for safety, so dress accordingly. In the summer months, look for START bicycles around the valley for rent.
